The Greatest Mascara To Ever Exist!

Time and time again have I tried and tested out mascaras, claiming to be the greatest new eye enhancing product on the market. 8 times out of 10, they've left me disappointed. The only three mascaras I've discovered that I've absolutely adored using are: Maybelline's The Falsies, a Fearne Cotton for Boots mascara (that only comes out at Christmas) and then this wonderful invention; Benefit's They're Real! Benefit is by far my favourite makeup brand, and I scream with delight as soon as they announce a new product coming out! To say I was excited for They're Real!, is an understatement. When I finally got my hands on one, I was tremendously excited to whack it on my lashes! I wasn't disappointed at all with it, quite the opposite really. It is literally the BEST mascara I have ever used, ever. I cannot put into words my love for it.
It gives everyone and anyone the most dramatic, full, long and fluttery lashes! The lengthening powers of this mascara is genuinely mind-blowing, it's magic in a tube. The amazing plastic bristle brush, allows the wet formula to glide through your lashes aimlessly. The spiked head of the brush makes it trĂ©s easy to reach corner lashes also. It doesn't state on the packaging that it's waterproof, but so far it hasn't budged that much for me in the rain. It lasts all day, and doesn't flake or smudge. It's quite a toughy to remove however, as it's so long-lasting. I find that using my Body Shop Moringa Beautifying Oil gently removes it in an instant, applied on to some cotton makeup pads.
Some people may find it a tad pricey at around €24, but to be honest I think it's worth every penny - it's unbelievable! I'm currently on my second tube of it, and loving it as much as the first time I used it. I get asked repeatedly am I wearing falsies, I never have to be honest, and find no reason to with this mascara. I couldn't recommend it enough for you all - go to your nearest Benefit counter and ask one of the Benebabes to try it out on you. You'll be so surprised to see how much of a difference it makes, I absolutely adore it. 10/10!

What's your favourite mascara? Have you tried They're Real?

  2. I've sworn by my falsies for ages ... This seems really great but must say I'm a bit dubious to stray away from my staple mascara as I've been disappointed so many times! If I see it here in France I shall give you the "benefit" (lol) of the doubt and make the plunge!
Thank you for this post Leanne, keep up the good work :)

  13. I love this mascara; a lady pounced on me in Debenhams once (she worked there, not just an aggressive stranger...) and whacked it on me and I was astounded! Still haven't got round to buying it for myself, though!

  14. I've used this mascara and it definitely is wonderful! My tube unfortunately didn't last very long as I used it up so quickly and I haven't made the splurge to repurchase it yet! I love it, but my holy grail mascara is definitely Max Factor False Lash Effect. My favourite drugstore item ever!

  15. I use Mac Factor False Lash Effect too after it was recomended by a friend with gorgeous lashes. I hardly wear mascara so I'm not too keen on spending lots on it, however, do love Benefit. Do you have a picture of it on your lashes? Would love to see.

  16. It's not my kind of mascara. Looks abit spider-leggish to me (I'm sure there's a better way to phrase that lol). I stick to less dramatic ones like maybelline full and sot or no7 lash 360.

  17. I really do need to invest in this mascara rather than wearing false lashes every day!
